Using task pup

task pup lets you save daily tasks, arrange a schedule, run a focus timer, and interact with a virtual dog. You may optionally connect your primary Google Calendar to display events alongside your tasks. Use the service lawfully and only with accounts and information you are authorized to access.

Your account and content

You are responsible for keeping your username and password secure and for activity you authorize through your account. Choose a password you do not use elsewhere. The app currently has no password recovery, so losing your credentials may prevent you from accessing your plans.

You retain ownership of the content you enter. You give us permission to store, process, and display it only as needed to operate task pup and respond to your requests, subject to our Privacy Policy.

Google Calendar and third-party services

Connecting Google is your choice and requires your authorization. The integration reads your primary calendar to display events and schedule automatic tasks around busy times. It does not create, change, or delete Google events. You may disconnect through Account or revoke access in your Google Account.

Google and our hosting providers operate independently and their applicable terms also govern your use of their services. task pup is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google. Calendar access can be interrupted by provider outages, revoked permissions, or account restrictions.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to access another person's account, bypass security controls, disrupt the service, overload its infrastructure, or use it to violate law or other people's rights. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, protect users, comply with law, or maintain the service.

Availability and your schedule

task pup is provided as available, without a guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Calendar refreshes can be delayed and schedules or timers may be inaccurate. Check important appointments directly in Google Calendar and keep your own copy of information you cannot afford to lose.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To that same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, task pup, including missed appointments or lost data. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Ending use and changes

You can stop using task pup at any time. Disconnecting Google removes the connection, but does not delete your planner account. To request account and data deletion, follow the Privacy Policy or email us with your username. Do not include your password.

We may update features or these terms. We will publish revised terms here with an updated effective date and provide reasonable notice of material changes or discontinuation when practicable. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them.
